Cleaner

Based on the patent application developed by me for an air stream purification and control system designed for the ventilation of residential and public buildings, the AGH University of Science and Technology in Kraków granted a license for its production. Currently, after testing prototypes in offices and flats, advanced implementation works are underway and the procedure of putting products on the market is being developed.

This device, developed for the safety of the inhabitants of both large agglomerations and small towns, is designed to filter and purify the air entering houses and public buildings, thanks to which it will be possible to breathe air that is free not only of pollutants present in Kraków's smog, but also of plant pollen, bacteria and viruses. The system is mounted in the outer wall of the building and has eight air filtration and purification levels. The first to be installed is a self-cleaning coarse mesh filter that prevents insects, leaves or larger pollen from entering the device. Subsequently, a pre-filter is installed - which catches fine dust, flower pollen, soot and partly smoke. That is followed by a photocatalytic filter with photocatalytic coating with bactericidal and deodorizing properties, an activated carbon filter ensuring adsorption of volatile organic compounds, sulphur compounds, mercury and other gaseous substances as well as dioxins and furans and a fine filter that captures mites, bacteria and other the finest dusts.

In addition, an air ioniser is installed in the device, which generates the particles desired for humans with a negative electric charge, and an electric heater that prevents cold air from entering the building. This device also provides a significant saving of thermal energy, as it provides the right amount of purified air depending on the current demand, thus avoiding excessive cooling or overheating of the indoors.
